Saturday, May 21st, was a day of both smiles & tears as Studio 7 families gathered for an "Aloha" potluck and Awards Ceremony.  After 3 years of battling the California economy & the Lompoc depression, Studio 7 had decided to close it's doors in Lompoc and relocate to Eugene, Oregon. 

Students & guests of Studio 7 Lompoc had a great time at the Awards Ceremony that day.  Sifu Dahrla handed out awards to every student honoring them for their area of personal excellence and great food was had by all!

The most exciting moment of the day was when special guest Grandmaster Andy St. Wilson performed his lightening fast  nunchaku kata BLINDFOLDED!!!  Following his performance, to the delight of all attending, Grandmaster Andy then promoted Sifu Dahrla to 5th Dan & Sensei Loki to 4th Dan.  Master Dahrla was then presented with the traditional "Master's Sword" by Grandmaster Andy..engraved with the words, "THE MASTER'S SWORD...The path you seek is the path you find"

We will definitely miss all the wonderful students we have had the priviledge of teaching& knowing in Lompoc.  The experience has changed our lives and the lives of many.
